Regular beds force users down toward the foot of the bed as the head is raised, resulting in users being positioned far away from the bedside table- users then must twist and reach back to access the bedside table which can lead to pain, strain and falls. With FLP, the users position relative to the bedside table remains the same regardless head section positioning.

Full electric adjustability of the head and foot sections allows for infinite positioning to maximize user comfort and pain relief. The Fixed Lateral Positioning feature helps keep users close to the bedside table regardless of the position of the head section for maximum user safety and convenience. The electric Hi-Lo feature means the entire bed can be raised and lowered as desired, assisting users to enter and exit the bed while helping caregivers perform tasks at a comfortable working height. Back stain and potential back injuries are therefor significantly reduced. Integrated, folding siderails help maximize user safety. Side rails can be completely removed if they are not required.

Our home hospital bed prevents this and includes a Wall Hugger/Fixed Lateral Positioning (FLP) feature where the users position relative to the side bed table remains the same regardless of head positioning. This allows for added safety and can prevent injuries.
